Course overview

The RPAS Microdrone Prep Course is a beginner-friendly Canadian microdrone training course for people who want a stronger safety foundation before flying. It explains what a microdrone is, how microdrone responsibilities differ from certified Basic or Advanced operations, where risk usually appears, and how to plan safer flights around people, property, emergency sites, airspace, weather, and privacy concerns.

This course is especially useful for recreational flyers, property owners, cottage owners, parents or guardians supporting youth drone users, and beginners who want a stronger decision-making foundation.
